HORSEBACK

Two things I love: mountains and horses. Put them together, and I’m in my happy place. For my birthday, my partner planned a horseback riding trip out in Pemberton.

My horse (photo #3) was named “Mellow.” True to his name, he was calm but stubborn—and couldn’t stop snacking. Honestly, I could relate.

Horses are fascinating creatures. Despite their size, they’re incredibly intuitive and sensitive to the energy around them. To guide them, you have to be steady and clear with your cues—anything less and they’ll hesitate.
